In our list of courses, we have only included crazy golf, adventure golf and mini golf courses. We have not included courses with fewer than 9 holes, pitch and putt courses, or simple grass putting sites.
We’ve also excluded venues pop-up courses, seasonal courses which are physically removed during the winter – such as the free minigolf course at Canary Wharf – and and pubs where it’s free for customers to play. Boom Battle Bars, which feature ‘Crazier Golf’ courses where not all the holes involve putters, are also excluded.
And if you have to pay a separate entrance fee to get into a theme park or entertainment centre – even if the golf is free once you’re inside – then you won’t be on our list.
Finally, the family prices we quote are for a family of four.
